EZO-RGB™ Embedded Color Sensor – Plastic Body
EZO-RGB™ Embedded Color Sensor – Plastic Body
Description
With your smartphone’s high-definition camera, accurately capturing a color in 8-Bit RGB or CIE might seem straightforward, but it’s quite intricate. The Atlas Scientific EZO-RGB-P sensor, however, simplifies this task. Housed in durable, weather-resistant photosensitive resin body with versatile mounting options, integrated illuminator LEDs, and an easy-to-use data protocol, this sensor brings sophisticated color detection to an accessible level.

The sensor detects colored light in the red, green and blue spectrum. It is least sensitive to blue light and most sensitive to red light.
The spectrum output by the six onboard target LEDs is strongest in the blue spectrum and weakest in the red spectrum. This is the opposite of the color sensors sensitivity giving it the best possible color sensing performance.

Your phone has a high-def camera capable of seeing everything. So, how hard could it be to accurately observe a single color and express the readings in true 8-Bit RGB or CIE? Well, as it turns out, it’s a lot harder than you may think. Although there are many different types of RGB sensors out there, the Atlas Scientific EZO-RGB sensor is ready to go. With a weather-resistant housing that gives multiple mounting options, onboard illuminator LEDs, and an easy-to-use data protocol, your machine will be detecting colors like it's 1979.The EZO-RGB™ comes with:
One embedded color sensor, one data cable with 5 pins male header, and one Locknut & O-ring.With a weather-resistant housing that gives multiple mounting options, on-board illuminator LEDs, and an easy-to-use data protocol, 8-Bit RGB or CIE.
